RESEARCH

Dr Gallagher is actively involved in ongoing clinical trials and research. After passing his fellowship exams in Sydney, in May of 2002, to become an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Gallagher then spent an additional three years completing advanced knee fellowships in North America and the United Kingdom. During his time overseas, he worked as a clinical fellow in tertiary referral institutions including both the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic (FKSMC) and London Health Sciences Clinic (LHSC) in association with the University of Western Ontario (UWO) and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC) in association with Oxford University (OXON), during which time he became interested and involved in clinical research.
